EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS:

 

Bright Star aims to provide courses which will allow our students to learn new techniques which will help them to find a job. These employability skills include self-management, business awareness, career knowledge, and attitudes to work. Our courses give learners an experience of understanding what the work environment consists of and how to apply what they’re learning. This experience provides learners with significant exposure to essential skills and attributes needed to work.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM:

 

Our youth empowerment program, Youth Entrepreneurs Training, aims to provide basic knowledge to multiple aspects of youth livelihoods which delay their abilities, including entrepreneurial understanding, employment opportunities, being engaging members of society as they discuss local issues affecting them, and inspiring change in their communities. Our program also encourages self-development and management skills in potential youth enterprises, and expanding self-employment opportunities.

Our program centers around locations such as Mogadishu, as we’ve come across the realization that there’s a variety of youth with undiscovered business potential. We aim to increase the accessibility, availability, relevance, and sustainability of business services and training for youths to accommodate the current market demand. Our ultimate goal is to encourage entrepreneurship among youths rather than having them believing they should only be seeking employment rather than following dreams they have to run their own business.
